KODACHROME
My curiosity extends beyond glass negatives and vintage black-and-white photographs to include Kodachrome as well. Thousands of slides have passed through my possession —tiny windows into forgotten worlds. Slide transparency film is no longer processed in labs, and perhaps it never will be again. With my slide projector, I’ve become captivated by the experience of viewing old photographs as they were once seen—light passing through film, stories unfolding in shadows and color.
Through these images, I feel intertwined with the lives of the photographers, living through their moments, their histories, their time. I’m not seeking perfection—only memory.
Here are a few that I’m sharing for now; I’ll continue to upload more as time allows. They are available for download only and have not been edited. They were simply scanned by me using a Kodak scanner.
Thank you for your support.
